What a week!We have been carefully making our Christmas cards these past few weeks and on Monday and Tuesday we wrote out messages in them to our family. On Wednesday we learnt all about how to post them by taking a trip to the postbox on Church Road. We all placed a Christmas stamp in the right hand corner of our envelope (this is new word!) and posted them in the postbox!

Some of us got a lift up to post our card!

On Thursday we had our end of term party. We had earned 37 marbles in our jar for great class behaviour and team effort. Mrs A added 3 more and that made 40! 40  mins of party time! (We actually had a bit more….)We had a game of musical statues and general funky dancing time to Christmas music.

Only 5 left for musical statues! Who is going to win?

We had snacks and then………………Father Christmas visited and gave everyone a box of chocolates! This was very exciting. We all shook his hand.JpegJpegAll of this was after we had a fabulous Christmas lunch in the hall, with music and singing. Everyone had a cracker and read their jokes to each other. The Y1s and teachers helped us.
