Last Friday we went down to the rickety bridge to trip trap trip trap over it, so that we could get to the green grass on the other side. Unfortunately, underneath the bridge there was a mean and nasty troll! Luckily, it was just Miss Wigg, pretending, and she made us all laugh. We sorted ourselves into little Billy Goats, medium sized Billy Goat and Big Billy Goats and trip trapped over the bridge. On Thursday it was World Book Day and we all came dressed up as our favourite characters. We all looked amazing. There was Mr Bump, The Gruffallo, The snail and his whale, Peppa Pig, Cat in the Hat and many superheros. There were 3 Anas from Frozen! After we had admired each others costumes we went into the hall for the Great Book Swap. We brought in a book that we didn’t want anymore and then swapped it for a book we did want. Some of us took ages to choose, others saw a great book straightaway. After that, we had some time reading in the classroom with our friends. All day long we read the book Where the Wild Things are because it is a GREAT STORYBOOK and is about our topic- Monsters.Tommy Daffern got the Certificate of Achievement this week for great listening and great learning all week. Well done Tommy!
