We have been very busy these past few weeks! We have now learnt eight sounds and some of us have been learning to spell words with magnetic letters. We had a donation of some pushchairs and prams this week and lots of the children have been taking the babies out for walks in the infant playground. We have also been weighing conkers, learning how to use the scales. Zac and Tobias made a treasure trail with the conkers, chalking arrows all around the playground and hiding the conkers in various secret places. We have been enjoying Green Eggs and Ham and The cat in the Hat by Dr Seuss these past two weeks and we are all learning to tell the story of The Little Red Hen with actions.Today we went to the Harvest festival in the church and talked in class about why we celebrate Harvest and how lucky we are to have supermarkets. Evie and Jack walked up the aisle in the church to add to the donations for the foodbank. We enjoyed listening to the readings and hearing the hymns and our teacher was very proud of how well we sat in the church.
