We have had another busy week in Year 3. On Wednesday afternoon we looked at some Stone Age cave paintings and the stories that they told us. We then had a go at drawing some of our own. This afternoon we went outside to have a go at creating a cave painting on the outside of the school! First we used chalk to draw on the building. Then we had a go at using stones to draw on the playground. It was quite tricky to make the marks show up, so we needed to use our Science knowledge from Thursday afternoon to help us choose the best rock to use. Pictures of our individual art work have gone into our topic books, ready for you to see at the open afternoon next week!
