Each day there is a daily act of worship, which is inclusive and invitational - this is lead by the children who open and close the worship.
Each act of worship has a different story and related activities.
We start each week with a story, this could be a bible story, a contemporary story or a story from another faith as well as Christian and other faith festivals. This could include world and localised events. From these stories worship activities are planned by teachers using the ‘Telling the story, making sense, making connections and understanding the impact’ framework. These activities might be discussion based, or children completing a specific activity. These are recorded in our Worship Floor books as well as being part of our reflection spaces.
There are refection areas in each classroom where children are given the opportunity to reflect on Collective Worship, RE teaching, spiritual development or just to take the time to think in a quite space.
