Prayer Spaces

With Love & Faith, We Aspire & Achieve.

Jesus said: I have come so you may have life, life in all its fullness. John 10:10

Prayer spaces help children to reflect and pray, each classroom has a dedicated area for prayer and reflection.

Prayer spaces enable children, of all faiths and none, to explore life’s questions, spirituality and faith in a safe, creative and interactive way.

A prayer space is an area that is used to encourage personal reflection using a range of creative activities. This could include issues such as forgiveness, injustice, thankfulness, peace, big questions, identity and stillness.

Most recently, the children completed the Mountain activity. This reflects our value of courage as life's journey is like climbing a mountain and we achieved this in 3 stages. Starting at the bottom with their hopes and dreams, then thinking of a particular challenge they are facing and how God could help them to achieve this. Finally, when they reach the top they can celebrate their achievements - no matter how small!
