PTA

Hello and a very warm welcome from us all involved in St Matthew’s PTA (Parent and Teacher Association). 

All parents at St Matthew’s are members of the PTA and we welcome your involvement whether that be volunteering your time or supporting our fundraising events! Your support is very much appreciated.

In this last year we have been focussing on having regular small fundraisers such as monthly bake sales which helps to involve all parents and children in raising valuable money for our school. We are also focusing on having fun events such as the school disco in the spring and wheely day in the summer as well as many other fabulous things – so keep your eyes peeled!

The money we raise goes straight back into the school to pay for enriching experiences and resources. This last year we have funded, climbing and caving experience during sports enrichment week, a pantomime during drama enrichment week and money for new books and a mural for the library revamp!

We have class reps for each year group, so if you are a current St Matthew’s parent please do engage with them about events and offer your time to volunteer if you are able to.

Every year we have an AGM (Annual General Meeting) where the committee and main roles are re-established. We are always keen for new parents/carers and teachers to be involved.
